Are you anxious about things that you don't need to be anxious about? Do you needlessly worry?
I often find myself ...where I get in a lot of angst and if I stop and take a deep breath, I realize that it's not necessary.
In fact, there's some times I can't even identify what's making me anxious. I finally came to realize that there are times that the anxiety comes from... more a fear of things not working out then things actually not working out.
In fact, I've got no complaints. My whole life has been really blessed, but yet I seem to find myself slipping into these periods of anxiety and anxiousness.
Realizing now that I'm worried needlessly has really helped.
I'm just sharing this today to tell you to sit back and next time you've got that anxiety level that's through the roof... stop and really look, stop and ask yourself, what am I anxious over and why? What's the worst thing that could happen?
Chances are your brain is going to come up with what the worst thing is, but maybe at that point you go... That's ridiculous. Why am I allowing myself to be this way?
More recently I stopped allowing myself to be that way and it's been really freeing.
Can I maintain it?
I don't know. I hope so. I hope so. That's the goal.
You discover these things and you say, Hey, I don't need this anxiety. There's nothing there. There's no reason to be anxious. Then letting that go is so freeing... so liberating.
I'm going to ask you to do the same thing.
Can you just let the anxiety go and just breathe and just be, and be content?
