Are you in the present moment?  Are you aware of what's happening now or do you let your mind scatter and run all over the place? Maybe when you're doing something, you're thinking about everything, but what you're doing...

Are you in the present moment? 

You might recognize this as kind of a woo woo type concept... As Eckhart Tollee calls it being in the now.

Are you aware of what's happening now or do you let your mind scatter and run all over the place? Maybe when you're doing something, you're thinking about everything, but what you're doing. 

We've had a perfect example at the studios the past few days. And I'm not picking on any of you individually, because this has happened to many, many, many of the students. 

The way our classes are listed, you have to pick between... I want to go to power flow in Astoria, I want to go to a power flow in Ilwaco or I want to go to power flow online. 

Well, if you want to go online, if you're going to live stream the class, but you choose that you're going to the studio. Guess what? You don't get the link to go to the class. 

Now, I think this happens because you're in a rush, you're wanting to get to class. You're excited. And you just hit the first button you see for 8:00 AM power flow. Not realizing that it says 8:00 AM power flow Ilwaco. 

You needed to sign up for powerful online. We try to watch and get ahold of people, but it's, it's an issue. And it's an issue of not being in the now, not being present. 

So, can you take just a little bit of time, think of the angst you would save yourself in a situation like that. If you just took a breath and actually read what you were clicking on, because it's all very obvious in that case. 

In most cases, if you just stop and slow down... like they say, slow down and smell the roses. Well, in this case, slow down and pay attention to what you're doing. 

It's so easy. It is so easy to get distracted and let your mind wander... that monkey mind just kicks in. Work on controlling that monkey mind... work on just stopping when you're doing something and saying, Hey, am I paying attention to the weed. I'm pulling so I don't, pull a flower? 

Am I paying attention when I'm making that right turn... so I don't turn right in front of somebody because I'm distracted. 

That's what it's all about. It's about being in the present moment. 

So that's my tip for the day. Try more and more and more to be in the present moment.

So be present and until tomorrow move well, stay healthy, be happy, live every single day with passion. And I often recommend to find a purpose because that makes it easy to live in passion.
