Drinking Tons of Water and Still Dehydrated?

Do you find yourself drinking tons of water? 

All it does is make you to go to the bathroom. It doesn't seem to take care of those dehydration issues that you're doing it for. 

Are you drinking like an ounce of pound or half an ounce per pound every day and not getting the results you'd liked?

Well, I'm going to be bringing more information on this in the future, but today I wanted to throw this out. I've got three different doctors that I follow now. The thing seems to be that one of the problems is when you drink water, your body does not have the sufficient minerals to do a good job of asorbing it.

So they are recommending now to add electrolytes to your water and you don't have to drink near as much water. 

So for those of you that struggle with drinking lots of water, this may be a solution. 

I'm going to advise you to test that yourself. Peggy, I've been doing it for about three months now... adding electrolytes to our water. I've cut my water in half. And it's really nice because I don't have to get up and go to the bathroom as much at night. I mean, I was getting up to three times every night. Now, most of the time I sleep through the night without having to get up and go to the bathroom. So to me, that was a huge, huge, huge improvement.

Now electrolytes, you can buy them the local co-op has them. Um, pretty much anybody... we've got a brand we order off of Amazon called iconic lytes. These have magnesium, chloride, sodium, potassium, and zinc. That's also your immunity stacks. So I think it's a great idea and it's definitely worth a test.

We are going to continue doing it. We both feel that we're getting better hydration with the electrolytes than we did without. 

So something to think about. I mean, I know we can all take handfuls of vitamins every day and it can get very expensive. We felt this was a relatively inexpensive way to add these supplements, these nutrition, to our, our eating plan, to our life, to our health, and also helping us to better absorb water, to be able to hydrate easier and better.

So give it a try, take it for what it's worth. I'm going to do a little research. I'll be posting more on this over the next few weeks on the podcast. 

So, check it out, try some electrolytes, especially if you're a problem water drinker. If that takes a lot for you, if you're going out and getting up and going to the bathroom multiple times every night.
