Am I going to indulge with my family, even though it might not be the way I normally eat? Damn Right I am... excuse the language... but it's true
It's that time of year and I'm not going to lie. I love the holidays, from the lights to the company, to the family, to everyone smiling faces. And the best part is that food. When you mention holidays, I think about the big spread that I'm about to cook for all my loved ones.
Am I going to beat myself up over it?
Nope I'm going to enjoy it.
Am I going to indulge with my family, even though it might not be the way I normally eat?
Damn right I am... excuse the language... but it's true.
I'm going to enjoy it and I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I'm not going to feel bad. Hard to believe, right?
Let me give you a couple of tips.
If you're heading to a loved one's house, maybe bring a side dish or something that you can eat and fill yourself up with, and then only enjoy a few of the other things.
Or if you're saying, forget it, I'm just going to enjoy the holidays. Then enjoy the holidays, eat it.
Don't beat yourself up.
Tomorrow's a new day and you can get back to eating the way you were before.
Make sure to flush your system with lots of water to get all that stuff out.
You could also always eat prior to going over to that loved one's house or her friend's house. So then you're not as hungry, then you might not eat as much.
There's lots of ways to enjoy the holidays and not feel bad about it.
If you want to eat it, eat it, enjoy it. Enjoy the laughs and the talks with your loved ones.
There's nothing wrong with it.
Just hop back on the wagon tomorrow and that's it.
From my family to yours I wish you all an amazing holiday and I can't wait to see you guys soon.
