How do you want to feel January 5th?

Do you want to be lethargic? Tired? Do you want to have gained 10 pounds? Do you want to just move through the day like a zombie because you've got the Christmas crash?

That thing is so insidious... you spend all this time in supposed celebration. Eating all kinds of foods that are just not good for you, pushing yourself to the limit, going to more events than you ever should. You feel an obligation.

How do you choose to feel January 5th?

Maybe back off some of that stuff,. Maybe when you're going to eat... consciously make decisions. If you're not going to skip the crap, at least cut back.

You can be happy. You don't need that food. You don't need that sugar. You don't need that Christmas cookie.

I loved the song, sure do like those Christmas cookies, sugar. I think it was George Strait and it's just a bouncy song. And even though I don't eat Christmas cookies at Christmas time, I love listening, I actually love bouncing to that song.

It's just cute as can be. If you've never heard it, you should look it up, "sure do like those Christmas cookies babe."

Enjoy it. Enjoy it. Enjoy the season. Try to take a breath, try to slow walk through the season. Try to look around and appreciate every day and appreciate the lights and appreciate the people. Appreciate the beauty.

I think you're going to find christmas is much more enjoyable.

I think we're going to find on January 5th, you won't be one of the people saying I got to get to the gym 14 hours a day. I got to get to six classes a day. I got to starve myself.

No you'll just be on your regular routine because you were willing to back off a little bit, to take a deep breath and enjoy your holidays.

That's my hope for you may move well and stay healthy.
