One of the greatest lessons I've learned in my life is that it's all a choice, and I'm talking emotional, crippling emotions.
I spent my whole life anxious, dreadful, stressing out, feeling like I wasn't enough, and then one day it hit me like a ton of bricks. It really is just a choice... and the more I practice that philosophy, the less I stress, the better I feel, the more I get done, the more I live every day feeling joy and happiness.
So next time you're anxious, give it a try. Just choose not to be anxious, because let's face it, does that anxiousness fix the issue. Does that stress fix the issue? Has anybody stressed themself out of a problem in the past? I don't think so.
It took me a while. It took me a while to get that realization, but boy, once I did, it changed my life.
My challenge for you today. Is to pick an emotion. Notice yourself when you're stressed, when you're anxious, when you're kerfuffled, when you just think there's no solution to an issue... just choose to let that go.
You can choose to be happy or you can choose to be unhappy.
You can choose to be joyful. You can choose to be sad.
You can choose to be stressed or you can choose to be relaxed.
I say in every one of those, make the choice that's a positive choice.
So today you're going to choose one thing. You're going to notice one time that you're anxious and just say to yourself, I choose to be relaxed. I choose to let that go. I can deal with that another time.
You're gonna find out that you really won't need to deal with it. It wasn't necessary, and the result is you will be happy, content, calm, and enjoy every second of your life.
And know, it feels good to feel good!
