Love Guides Me.

Here are two though provoking quotes on today's reflection...

Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses. Ann Landers

Friends can help each other. A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself - and especially to feel. Or, not feel. Whatever you happen to be feeling at the moment is fine with them. That's what real love amounts to - letting a person be what he really is. Jim Morrison

Here is today's reflection.

Love is like a bright and shining light. It guides me through the darkness.

Love keeps me going when I feel like quiting. I hang onto my hopes and inspiration. I remember my calling.

My relationships are based on trust. I focus on the good qualities in others. I discover their strengths and talents. I attempt to be vulnerable and share my feelings. I am honest and transparent.

I let a stranger know when their kindness brightness my day. I send my colleagues a thank you note for helping me excel at my job.

I practice forgiveness. I have empathy for others even when I disagree with their actions. I am prepared to provide them a second opportunity.

I give without expectation of return. I am satisfied with the happiness I feel when I share my blessings.

I spend time with loved ones and friends. I take notice of exactly what they have to say. I care about their desires and assist them whenever they need it.

I look after my wellness. Loving myself offers me the capability to love others. I consume a well balanced diet and exercise every day. I make time for rest and relaxation. I handle stress and set healthy lines in the sand.

Today, I honor the love that lives inside my heart. I want to create a better and more tranquil world for myself and others. I make choices that show my love.

Questions for Consideration:

1. Why is love a more powerful motivation than fear?
2. How do I feel when I am guided by love?
3. What is the relationship in between giving and getting love?

Love keeps me going when I feel like giving up. I let a stranger know when their compassion brightens my day.

Loving myself provides me the capability to love others. Today, I honor the love that lives inside my heart.

Take a deep breath, close your eyes and see what comes to your mind for the next few minutes while you listen to the splashing waves beneth the studio. Don't fight or judge, just listen. Watch for the nuggets of wisdom that come your way.
