Mindset. Let's talk about getting your head on straight.
There are a couple aspects of mindset. Number one is having a positive attitude, believing something is possible. Believing it can be .
The second is knowing that you're willing to do what it takes.
To me those are the most two important things when it comes to mindset.
Why is a fitness company, a fitness person, always talking about mindset?
Because without the proper mindset, without actually believing something can be done. Without knowing that you have the ability to follow through 100% of the time and do what's necessary to have that long. Fit, healthy, happy life.
Knowing that you're willing to do... what you have to do to lose that weight.
To do what you have to do to build muscle.
To do what you have to do to get off of medications.
To do what you have to do to breathe deeply.
That's, what's important.
Having the positive attitude.
Number one, knowing what you're wanting to accomplish can be done.
If you don't believe that you can get off of medications, you're never going to get off of them.
You have to do enough research to find that, yes, I do believe life without medications is possible.
If you're not going to be willing to do what it takes to lose weight, if you're going to rely on cheat meals and cheat days and different crutches... that they sound good, they sound like something that's going to make it easier to stick to your plan.
Then don't bother because I guarantee you those always morph into longer and more, and they totally undermine your efforts.
You've got to have the mindset that I'm going to find a way to eat healthy for life and doggone it. I'm going to do it. I know I can do it. I'm a strong person.
There's not a person listening to this who is not strong enough to accomplish all of your goals.
That's my message for today.
Mindset... get a positive attitude and then know... know that you can stick to your goals and make things happen for you.
