Self-Care is Key During Travel

Are you getting ready to leave town ? Many are getting back into traveling since the Covid-19 restrictions have been reduced. I know that space in your luggage is at a premium and every item you pack really matters.  I cannot emphasize enough the importance of taking your therapy balls and voodoo floss along with you.  And don’t hide them in your checked luggage. You will want them handy. Travel by whatever mode you select is not user-friendly.  Don’t think you will leave your body issues behind.  When you are sitting at O’Hare in Chicago in pain after walking for what seems like miles you will want a session with your therapy balls.  While you are seated on the plane, train or car you may get that nagging ache in your hip and running down your leg.  Placing a therapy ball under your thigh will provide the relief you need.  Get a sprained ankle or wrist, maybe edema or swelling, from too much vacation fun, grab your voodoo floss for a quick wrap session.  While you spend the time with your self-care tools, take the time to breathe.  Maybe even close your eyes.
