These are a few of my favorite things.
Well, you can thank me later, but I am not going to break out in song no matter how tempting it is when I say that. What I'm going to do today is encourage you to identify your favorite things.
What are a few of your favorite things? When the wind blows, when the bird sings? I don't even remember the words of the song. I would have to sing it. So I'm not going to put you through that.
Figure out what your favorite things are, and then be thankful and grateful.
Right now I'm sitting in our Ilwaco studio with my feet up on the ledge. The water is crystal clear. There's birds flying by... there's beautiful boats, slightly bobbing on the waves.
It's an early morning and I am just filled with peace, happiness, and gratitude.
That's one of my favorite things.
So find yours, take the time to identify your favorite things. Be grateful for them. Love them, embrace them and be grateful that I didn't sing to you.
