Making a lifetime positive change to the way you eat can be tough... but I guarantee you that if I can do it ANYONE can do it!
Words of encouragement. I want to assure you that you can do this.
By now you know, you know that you need to clean up your nutrition. You need to cut out sugar. You need to reduce processed foods. You need to come up with an eating plan that you can live with for life, not just live with, but an eating plan that will help you thrive for life.
That's tough. I will be honest with you. It's one of the toughest things I have ever done, and I still struggle with it today. I'm an addictive eater and that addiction makes me reach for food any time that stress hits. Any time that things don't go exactly as I want them to. I reach for those snacks. I reach for food.
Fortunately over the years, I've come to develop the habit where that doesn't happen very often. When it does, I pay for it. I paid dearly for it. Sometimes making me sluggish and bloated for days.
You know you have to do this, you know that you need to lose weight if you're overweight. Excess weight is the cause of most disease. Sugar, cancer feeds on sugar. These things have to be eliminated from your life if you truly want to be healthy and energetic and happy and move through your day with ease and excitement. That's what I want for you. Let me encourage you. If I can do it, anybody can do it. I know you've heard that before, but I am a hyper addictive personality and I can grab on to things, make myself insane. Food has always been my go-to comfort.
I don't know why our parents do it to us. I don't think they do it vindictively, but why is every reward a sugary treat? Why do we give our kids all of these foods that aren't good for them? Because what it does, it builds later in life. I'm 68 years old and I still crave that comfort food. What I would give for two bowls of ice cream every night, but I can't do it. I can not do it. And I know you're stronger than me.
I guarantee you you're stronger than me. I've done it. I've lived a close to 15 years now eating on a low carb eating plan. I don't cheat very often. Like I said, when I do, I pay for it.
I know if I can do it, anybody can do it.
You have to dig into those compelling reasons. You have to discover your passionate goals. You have to constantly remind yourself of why you're doing it.
After a while it gets easier and easier and easier. And even if you're an addictive personality like me, it's only every so often that I start craving things that I know aren't good for me.
So that's it. That's my word of encouragement. If I can do it, you can do it. Anybody can do it.
Think about your life. Think about what you want and start eating healthy.
Move well, stay healthy, be happy. Let's live our life with passion and purpose. Oh my God. You can do this. I guarantee you.
