Do you need to go to the gym and pump iron? Only if you like doing that, only if that's something that that appeals to you, that makes you really happy. Because I'll tell you what, doing the simple exercises that we do in classes and doing resistance stretching... because believe it or not, resistance stretching is much more than just flexibility..

Resistance stretching is creating strength, powerful strength through your entire range of motion so you're not just strengthening one small area of the muscle, you're strengthening all of the fibers to enhance your flexibility.

You enhance your flexibility by adding strength in your full range. In other words, when you go out to the end range of a stretch, say you grab onto a post with your arm and you twist a little bit and you're going way out there, well, if you don't have strength at that end range, you can tear your muscles, especially with the chest, the hamstring, and the groins... shoulders too. So that's why as we stretch we build the strength.

You can do some hovering pushups on a warrior flow and quickly build chest and back strength.

It is amazing, there are so many easy ways to do it without spending hours pumping iron in a gym.

Now, if you want to compete in a competition and be Mr. America or whatever and you want that big super ripped body with the six pack, you will find that lifting weights is one of the best ways to accomplish that.

If you just wanna be trim, fit, attractive, healthy. , you can do it with simple body exercises and with resistance stretching.

It's simple, it's easy, it's effective, and it's not dangerous at all.

One thing I love about resistance stretching, you can do it as many times as you want. I can't tell you how many days have I gone through the day because I know I've, I've worked hard and I want to protect myself, that I have done resistance stretching on my glutes... my glutes, and my quadriceps areas I'm very tight, areas that most people are very tight.

You can do it all day long with resistance, stretching. You don't have to limit yourself and have six days of recovery in that because the recovery's very fast.

Resistance stretching creates many micro tears in your muscle, where weightlifting rips the muscle apart. That's why you need, at least... it depends on who you're listening to... anywhere from one to three days of recovery every time you do a heavy lifting system session.

So if you love lifting weights, not a thing wrong with that. Find yourself a good trainer or find yourself some good information and listen to them. Do what they say. Don't overdo. Just listen and do it well and make sure that you're not coming out of that set... you should not come out of a weight lifting session flushed and feeling sick, okay? You have to listen to your body. You have to ease your way in.

So that's it. I highly recommend body exercises. I highly recommend resistance stretching, and if you want to lift weights, if you're a metal head and you love it, do that. But combine the others also, you're gonna find more powerful results with your weight lifting if you resistance stretch.

Until I talk to you tomorrow, move well, stay healthy, be happy. Live with passion. Talk to you later.
